This technology was developed in the Soviet Union (by the KGB) during the height of the cold war (1980's). At first, this technology was used to train Russian spies in the art of deception. Operatives trained with this technology in order to learn how to control their emotions. In most cases, operatives could become proficient liars (passing lie detector tests) with about 12 weeks of daily training (2 views per day). However, drastic side effects began to show up in other, thought to be, unrelated cognitive tests. The operatives showed a pronounced increase in IQ (about 1 standard deviation) equal to about 15 IQ points. Further research was conducted and the technology was improved to its present level yielding an average increase of 23 IQ points after just 12 weeks of twice daily use. Surprisingly, most operatives had a significant increase in cognitive functioning after only a few weeks. Also, it was discovered that certain psychological traits can be accurately measured in individuals immediately after the individual watches this video for the first time. The KGB used this technology as a hiring tool to psychologically screen prospective Foreign Service Operatives.
